Went to Cengo Ocakbaşı and honestly, what a gem. The place has such a cosy, authentic vibe, proper ocakbaşı atmosphere with the grill on show, great energy, and the music just adds to it without being over the top. The meze portions were really generous, and everything tasted so fresh. The main dishes were incredible too, proper charcoal flavour, exactly how it should be. You can tell the chefs care about what they’re doing. Staff was genuinely kind, welcoming and attentive without hovering. It just felt relaxed, comfortable, and super friendly from the moment we walked in. Honestly, 10/10 — amazing food, great atmosphere, and you leave feeling looked after. Definitely going back.

We visited this Turkish restaurant as a group of 8, and everything was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the service was friendly and attentive, making sure we all felt well looked after. The food was incredible – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous too. It’s not easy to impress a big group, but they truly delivered. We all left very happy and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
